Richard is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Interbase Resources Sdn. Bhd, which operates
www.lelong.my, Malaysia’s largest online auction portal and
www.SuperBuy.my, an online fixed price e-commerce mall.
A Chartered Accountant by training, Richard started his career with Arthur Andersen, Singapore. He then moved on to AMP Manufacturing Inc. before entering the software industry as the Regional Finance & Business Development Director for System Software Associates Inc (SSA) in Singapore. He played a key role in expanding SSA’s operations in Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia and later set up SSA China as one of the first few 100% foreign owned software company in China in 1991. He later moved on to become the Managing Director of SSA Malaysia in 1994. From 1995, Richard was the Managing Director and Shareholder of JBA Asia Sdn Bhd, an international ERP provider until 1999 when it was sold to JBA UK PLC.
In 1999, Richard co-founded
www.autoworld.com.my and
www.lelong.com.my. Autoworld is the pioneer in automotive portal and it was the largest auto portal in Malaysia until it was sold to Hong Leong Group. Lelong is the pioneer for online auction site in Malaysia.
Richard holds a First Class Honours degree in Commerce and Administration from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants New Zealand and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

DINESH ARASARATNAM

Malaysia-born Dinesh Arasaratnam is the South East Asia Regional Director of Effective Measure, the digital media planning solutions provider specializing in emerging markets. He is responsible for leading a regional sales team and championing the value of market intelligence for emerging digital economies.
Dinesh was instrumental in the introduction of best practice online measurement in the Middle East in a similar Dubai-based role. He consistently promoted market education in Middle East, Africa and Asia, where he successfully trained both agencies and publishers on how to optimize their digital outputs with Effective Measure tools.
Dinesh’s passion for advocating digital growth in the emerging markets stems from his valuable experience as both the client and supplier in his past roles. He continues to actively promote education in the digital space and helping agencies, publishers and advertisers to effectively plan, assess and optimise their online campaigns.
Timothy Tiah

Timothy Tiah is the co-founder and executive director of Netccentric, the holding company for his and business partner Ming's various web ventures.Whilst pursuing his degree in Economics from University College London, Timothy took up summer internships at JP Morgan Chase and Deutsche Bank with the intention of making a career in investment banking.
Back in the UK, Timothy teamed up with Cheo MingShen, a Singaporean UCL student who was already running a successful dotcom of his own called gadgeit.com and together, they planned to return to Malaysia and start a blog advertising company upon graduation. Timothy and Ming named the budding blog advertising company ‘Nuffnang’.
Nuffnang’sgrowth was staggering. Within a day, it grew to have 300 members. Now, just five years later in Feb of 2012, Nuffnanghas a complete network of over 1,000,000 bloggers and offices in Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Melbourne, Manila, Hong Kong, Bangkok and China. Its impressive roll of advertisers include big names like Nokia, Maxis, Citibank, Hugo Boss and many, many more.
Following the success of Nuffnang, Timothy and Ming were not content to rest on their laurels and went on to establish the integrated social media advertising network ChurpChurpin July 2009.
In 2007, both Timothy and Ming were nominated by Businessweek as two of the 25 best young Asian entrepreneurs. Timothy, 23 then, was the youngest on the list of inspired nominees, and the only representative from Malaysia. Alexdrina Chong

Alexdrina is a visual designer and a part time design
lecturer at a local design program. Before the establishment of So+Co, she
spent about a decade in the States, teaching graphic design at Bowling Green
State University for two years, then she relocated to Chicago to reinvent her
design career. Alex took a job at a studio in Chicago, working as a lead
designer designing promotional campaigns for major movie studios - e.g. Warner
Brothers, NewLine Cinema, etc. Projects that she was involved in were Pelham
123, Body of Lies, Pride and Glory, Sex and the City, Hairspray, Diving Bell
and the Butterfly, and so on. As an artist, she has exhibited her work in group
shows mainly in Chicago, New York and also in Ohio.
Alexdrina came home to Malaysia in July, 2008 and started
her own private practice - LUCID Collaborative Studio. In 2010, Alexdrina
decided to put aside most of her commercial work and to focus on starting a
creative agency working towards social mission.

Christopher Tock

Christopher Tock started blogging at the age of 19 in 2003
and 7 years later, turned his social media experience into a social
business dedicating most of his efforts to social startups.
As the
Director of IT & Communications for the UK and Eire Council for
Malaysian Students (UKEC) from 2005 to 2007, Technology Manager at
RandomAlphabets & Wago and co-founder of Young Corporate Malaysians,
